"Always with Honor: The Memoirs of General Wrangel" by Gen. Pyotr Wrangel released by Mystery Grove Publishing tells the exciting and tragic end of the White Russians at the hands of the Bolshevik devils in the Russian Civil War. The Russian Civil War, as well as much of the interwar period leading to WWII, is not well taught in the Unite States. I found this book to be extraordinary in how it lays out the struggles, horrors, and brief moments of hope the White army faced against the eventual downfall. Wrangel is a man of such character he has no equal in today's society. In today's world of self serving manipulative egocentric celebrity cowardly bureaucrats, there is no one who in the public eye who comes close to Wrangel. Most certainly not the leaders in the Pentagon who order hasty missile strikes to distract from their own failures that kill only the innocent. Wrangel did his duty to the best of his ability, when he could have left with his family and money, he stayed and fought. For the first time in over 60 years, this incredible memoir is back in print thanks to Mystery Grove Publishing. Buy it while you can.
